If you're a fun of final fantasy vii or the remakes get this game, it develops a lot of old characters and introduces a lot of cool new characters that were not in the original. The combat is also really fun if a bit too easy

I have great nostalgia with it, was my first FF game. So glad for the remake and having a chance to replay it

More lore on FF7? Sign me up. The game has aged, but it still holds up and sometimes even surprises. Highly recommend for any FF7 fan.

As a PSP port, it's one of the more action focused Final Fantasy games. The story is... well... pretty non-nonsensical, but truthfully the FFVII is one of their weaker universes.

Wurde nicht zu meinem Lieblingsspiel aber die Story kann man durchaus gut durchspielen und darum auch für diesen FF Teil eine dicke Empfehlung für alle die sich mal durch das Franchise spielen wollen.

It didn't become one of my favorite games, but the story is quite enjoyable to play through, so I highly recommend this FF part to anyone looking to explore the franchise.

Visually (especially color grading wise) I prefer the original in many places, but other than that, this is a very solid and faithful remake, with a more modern (Kingdom Hearts/FFVII Remake -esque) combat system that fits the game well in my opinion.
Though the story has its fair share of nonsense, the game still has one of the best endings in any game ever.

The original game on PSP was great and this remaster does improve it. Remasters usually are hit or miss, fortunately this one's great.

The two only real downsides I have seen so far:

Zack's voice actor.
How easy it is to miss rewards/quests/side-items.


Just try to talk to everyone, double-check everything a billion times- and have fun. I had quite a few laughs and some crying. I can't wait to finish this, and cry a lot more.

I haven't seen people talking or praising the effectiveness of the best magic materia IMO: Hell Firaga. It's fantastic, it inflicts stop, death, a ton of damage if they bypass death -- pretty useful against crowds as well. That's it. Have a good day <3
