Over 270 000 people played the demo!

Hello Everyone,

As we get closer to the launch of The Alters (less than a month away!), we’d like to share some exciting updates about the game.

First of all, we’re thrilled to announce that over 270,000 people have played the demo version! We’re incredibly happy with the positive feedback we've received so far, the hype is real, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support.

This weekend is your last chance to play the demo, as it will no longer be available to download starting May 18th. We can't wait to hear your thoughts after the full release, we've made significant improvements in every aspect of the game since the first demo!

To make things even more fun, this week we launched an AI app that lets you become Jan Dolski! Just upload a selfie and you'll see yourself as a part of Jan's crew. Check it out here:

People from around the world had a chance to play the game, and their positive feedback has given us even more power in our Quantum Computer to deliver a polished product at launch.

I feel a delay is coming...

Frostpunk 2 pre-order were up I think more that 1 month prior to the release but The Alters aren't up yet. I don't know maybe they announce a delay soon or maybe they drop a trailer in this week and open pre-orders.

Hi everyone!

As we are participating in Gamescom Latam in Brazil this year, we thought that's a perfect opportunity to tease another episode of the Expedition Logs!

Resources, scanning the surface and extraction

Expanding and running a mobile base in The Alters will not be possible without extracting the planet's rich resources. Metals, minerals, organics, and - most importantly - Rapidium, are vital materials you will encounter while scanning the planet’s surface. Yet finding them will be a tricky task, as you will often find their surroundings riddled with dangers.

Anomalies

Anomalies are lethal obstacles that pose various threats to our protagonist. They vary both in terms of looks and risks exposure to them entails. Some of them can be seen from afar while others will require an anomaly detector or a special tool to unveil. Anomalies can pose a serious danger to the mission as they can kill our Jan Dolski through radiation, as well as distort time and space around him. Luckily, we’re not helpless against them, as in time we’ll be able to create tools to counter their threat.

Biomes and collectibles

Multiplying types and threats of anomalies was one of the key features we worked very hard to improve during the last few months of The Alters’ development. The other one was the planet’s exploration, as we want to make biomes present in the game as interesting and filled with secrets as possible.

stellar blade killed this game

Sony is doing dirty to this game by releasing Stellar Blade just a day before this. It can't be a coincidence, definitely, these big companies don't want these emerging indie studios to succeed. What y'll think?

Got a message telling me i need a License,. I don't know if it's because the game's release is near. I would have liked to try it beforehand. If someone got an answer, it would be appreciate ;)

Timing sucks

I was looking forward to playing this. Now Dune which comes out 3 days earlier is looking like it might actually be good. >.< Unless that has a disastrous launch this might sit on my wishlist for a bit longer.
