I started to crave space again! In past year, I was working on survival and primitive technology (I am glad I did), but I almost forgot Space Worthy is a space game.

I am working on new Test map. You are on a space station with shop and NPC merchant, there is also a guy that gives simple randomized quest about some part he lost, gives you reward when you find it. There is another person who lost something... his ship! You should help him get it back (it's finding and towing mission.). There is also refuling station where you pay with credit card.

I am preparing companions too, you can order your companion pilot to fly the ship, or even dock! (I am proud about the docking, so many calculations way beyond my intelect. When I had it 90% finished, I was stuck so bad for few days, but I started to try random stuff blindly and found the formula!)
Do not expect any conflict or enemies in this update.

I optimized performance a lot, when you are in a space ship, or in other place with houndreds of parts that are really close to you, it no longer has big impact on performance. (player scans all nearby objects, so many of other systems have optimized access to nerby parts. I hugely optimised this scan and also other works with nearby parts data)

When I am in space in a spaceship, I have more than 2x more fps than before

I worked a lot on my completly custom pathfinding system (good built in solution is only for flat world so I cannot use it). My system is now dynamic, when you place or remove objects, it adapts. When NPC is on the ship, it spawns Path finder that attaches to the ship, so NPCs can walk inside the ship and search paths when it moves.



I made a lot of new curved ship parts, There was only 3m radius parts before, so now I made 2m radius and 1m radius parts. So the small ships ae no longer destined to be very ugly.
