sadly noone plays the game for that aspect it seems which ruins the game a little for me as they just dump new players at end game stuff to do legion raids while ignoring all other aspects of the game.

i think you're only choice is to grind for months and get the raids done so u can continue to gamble for ilvls. luckily up to 1540 is really easy i think and theres solo raid options so u dont have to deal with the toxic community.

you could probably youtube some of the story, but with how much the game has died, i doubt there will be much out for the newer stuff.

Make new char on Ignite and let him farm gold and whatever you need for your 1380 , whilst doing the story on low level char? Transfer gift you can use for both chars too.

Going to 1460 should not cost gold as far as I know unless you are trying to hone over +15 on epic(purple) or legendary(yellow) gear.

So if you are on purple gear on +15 or more you should stop honing that and get materials to craft legendary gear from Oreha's Well Abyssal Dungeon(both of them), this is gonna be painful as nobody does this content anymore and is not soloable, it will take a long time to find people to start the raid. Make a lobby, name it 'card run' and hope for the best.
You can also get materials for legendary gear from Abyss Raid Argos but it is the same story, very few people are doing this content.

Once you got the materials 'Sunset Scales' and/or 'Argos blood' you can craft the legendary gear at [Craft Abyss Equipment] and after that you can transfer you purple gear into legendary one at [Gear Honing] via Gear Transfer (purple +15 will become legendary +6 in this process but the item level wont change) and can continue honing to 1415 and it should be way cheaper.

Once you reach 1415 you will get access to Valtan Legion Raid, which is soloable and offers materials to craft Relic(orange) gear. Same story, craft it and gear transfer. 1430 Vykas Legion Raid for the remaining Relic gear. And go to 1460.

In total it should be 0 gold but you will need the materials. You get those by doing chaos dungeon and guardian raids (those are the daily chores) this rewards materials and some tokens that you will want to spend in the Event shop(top right corner, last tab). Doing legion raid also give some tokens for [Solo mode Exchange] a blue icon on the map, you can by materials here too.

As for the time it will take to do that... a month I would say, assuming you play casually and don't login everyday.

You should make a character on the ignite server and hon it to 1620, this is very easy to do, you can do it in 2-6 hours if you make multiple characters.

Once you reach 1620 transfer that character to the server with your 1380.
You can then do 3 raids on your new 1640 character. Because you are a returning player you will have a Moko Leaf on your name and people will just carry you into raids because they get items while playing with you.

You can do Behemoth after doing the South Kurzan Story, its an easy raid, just watch a video guide on it on Youtube, search for ATK Behemoth. This raid will give you 18k gold. You can then use this gold to buy mats to hon your 1380.

If you do not wish to do the quest you can do Kayangel, Akkan, Ivory Tower, or Brelshaza raids. These raids will give you like 4.8k to idk 7.5k gold each based on if you run NM or HM, solo mode will give bound gold which you will not be able to use.
Watch a quick guide on the raids, again look up ATK on youtube, or use https://maxroll.gg/lost-ark/raids.

You need Leapstones and more importantly Fusion Material.
No one does the raids at your item level anymore because its dated content not worth doing, and Honing cost silver until 1540 so everyones "alts" are at 1540+ now, you still need gold to buy the mats to hon tho.

So your only options are
Make Ignite character, hon to 1620, transfer which sets you to 1640, then do raids for gold.
Or you do life skills and sell the items you get for gold which could take weeks.

The event shops ingame has Leapstones and shards but not Fusions mats this time, and even then having only 1 character and not doing guardian raids, it would take you days to buy items from the event shop.

Some Info

1st you do not need to do Argos, you just hon the armor you are given to 1415, no clue what lv that is +15 maybe.

You have to then do Valtan solo mode to get the horns or whatever to craft valtan gear.
Hon that gear until you reach 1630 and do Vykas solo.
This will take 2 weeks.
The first week you get horns from beating Valtan, then you hon that gear to hit 1630, you then do Vykas.
The next week you do them both again and you should have the full set which you can then hon to 1490.

At 1490 you will need to run Brel Solo Mode and once again it takes I believe 2 weeks of getting gear, which you will be able to hon that gear to reach 1540

Theres also a solo shop vendor in the game. You will use your solo coins to buy extra Valtan and Vykas items to make more armor with, you do the same thing once you reach 1490 for brel.
