you watch the video and play by yourself -- able to enter Legion Raid and Abyssal Dungeon that allowed solo. It is more of practice as much as you want, fail as many and no one will blame you. No party or friend is needed. you can enter blind without clue what are the mechanics.

also bots either dwindling or run out of business due to what the game implemented as bound gold. Hardly see them as una's quest rewards only bound gold and not transferable.

Answering to your question 1) based on what you said on 2):

- No, it doesn't worth it if you're going to play alone.

About your 1400+ item level characters:

- You will need to reach 1620 to join to the tier 4 content.
- All content below level 1620 is pretty much dead at this point, so you will have to do it solo and gold from solo raids has been nerfed and even if you manage to find a party, they probably won't take you since your Rooster level is probably low and you don't have card sets required for the raids.
- Leveling up from 1540 to 1620, especially 1580 to 1620, is still pretty expensive and with all the solo gold nerfed, it's a total pain.


Ignite Character:
You can create a character on Ignite servers too, but I'm pretty sure those are already dead, since most of the players already transferred their characters to Legacy servers and once you do that, you are not able to enter in Ignite servers again.

Once you transfer, you will probably have fun with your 1620 character from Ignite for a while, since there's an mokoko event for new/returning players which gives veteran players a currency for carrying new players on raids (because they will not teach you, only carry you to finish the raid fast and being able to claim the currency). After that, prepare to get gatekeeped if you don't have a static party for raids.

So the game has shifted a lot and where you are theres not really any support for you, because most players who would be returning or joining the game would be doing so during an event where they would be boosted to 1540-1620.

If you want to start playing you need to make a new character on the Ignite servers, this event ends on I believe the 26th so if you are going to you need to do so fast.

On these servers all characters start at 1540. You can make 6 character and test them out to see which one you want to play, you could also make another GL or Pally if you wanted...you can also delete characters and make more but it takes 24 hours to delete a character.

The servers will flood you with honing mats, silver, and even gold. You should be able to reach 1580 in about 5 to 10 mins at which point you will start needing gold to hon. Honing cost has been reduced by like 80% but you will still need around 15k-20k to hon to 1620.

Hon to 1580, then do solo Akkan and Kayangel, then try honing to 1600, if you reach it do solo voldis. If you run out of gold you can make another character and hon it to 1580 and then do solo raids and use that gold to keep honing your "main" that you are going to push to 1620.

You can hit 1620 in a day.. you can do it in like 2 hours if you know how and get lucky with RNG.

When you hit 1620 you want to try and do Thaemine gate 1 for the quest, if you cannot that fine.

You want to hit 1620 before transferring off the server, you should have 9 days still to do this.

After you transfer you will then have a 1640, that will get into almost any raids, because you will have a Moko Leaf and people will just carry you because they get rewards for playing with you.
You will be able to earn anywhere from 45k to 60k gold a week with that 1640 from raids. You can then use that gold to hon your GL and Pally.

Honing cost silver only until 1540, you will still need to buy the mats and fusions with gold.

No one does content under 1540 anymore, but people still run Brel, Kayangel, Akkan, and Voldis 1520-1580 raids, so your GL and Pally can do those once they reach the item level, unless you just want to run solo with them.

the only people saying otherwise have many thousands of hours played and never stopped playing it.
