Hey Citizens!

It's the end of the month and, as usual, it's time to pull back the curtain on what the team worked on over the past four weeks - as well as what's coming next for City 20!

After the two hotfixes we dropped over the first week of April, we were able to focus on new content for our next major milestone. The update should be coming in the next couple of months - more news on that soon - and will bring major changes to the game. Let's see what you can expect!

After getting feedback from a lot of our players, we decided to rework the way you can fight your enemies in the game!

Over the past few months, we've been redesigning our combat system from scratch, focusing on making combat in City 20 more dynamic, intuitive and fun! While this is a work in progress, a first version of the new system will already be available with our next update - with further fine-tuning and improvements planned for the future!

Our goal has always been for City 20 to feel alive and realistic, which is why we've been working on adding more unique NPCs to the game. Among these, you can expect to run into henchmen that will try to extort money out of you, hunters stalking their preys and even herbalists growing plants to make medicine!

The factions in City 20 never rest and neither did we. For the next update, we're working on a number of new props, models, and animations - which will all contribute to how the city looks and feels to explore.

In addition to that, we're also working on restoring Bulletin boards - from where you'll be able to accept special quests from various NPCs for extra Pamyat! Electrical Shelters will also make an appearance throughout the city in the near future, each containing a node you can repair to restore power!

Finally, we're also aiming to make getting into City 20 easier for everyone! The team's working on a new starting area, which will also shed additional light on the protagonist's lore and background. And while Goga will still be the first human you'll meet in City 20, we're also reworking his behavior and the way he'll interact with you!
