I think what the op is trying to say is that, there is a bug from probably a recent update, where if you try to access the menu while in game, it'll open the virtual keyboard to edit the character's name and the only way out of it is by hard shut down the Steam Deck....I hope that helps

I'd also like to point it out that, even though you mentioned that you don't have a Steam Deck, before the above mentioned bug, the game played flawlessly on Steam Deck

hit esc to close the keyboard, use save menu to get to the main menu.

虚拟键盘关不掉。。。只能重启 可能是中文版的问题 但作者说没有中文版了就随之而弃了

I think I found the problem, and it should be fixed with the next update.
