It seems like sometimes the steam cloud doesn't sync, and instead of getting any errors my PC + steam deck just see different states. I haven't had this with other games, and it works sometimes. I think maybe it only syncs at certain places, i.e. after choosing encounter rewards? Does anybody know at what points the cloud syncs?...

I just stumbled on this game and am surprised I was able to stumble across it. Admittedly rogue-lite isn't my number one genre (partially because have the devs use rogue like and rogue-lite interchangeably), but steam algorithms are well aware of my appreciation narratives and the various ways they can be implemented across genres. The expert background gives access to a second class, and I also noticed that these second classes listed that they could be obtained through multiclass, but I haven't seen this perk/option anywhere. Anyone know how to access it?
