Sorry your're having some trouble with the game. Could you send me your computer specs: Motherboard, graphics card, Ram, and operating system? That should help figure things out. Also is there a particular place where the game is freezing?
"Might be missing" you say? Are you running anti-virus? If so that may be the problem. You may need to flag the collection as safe and re-install.
Well, it depends on the type of anti-virus you are running. You should be able to find the steps if you google them for your particular software. You could also disable your anti-virus when you re-install the game. I recommend you do the same with Pigsaw as well. It's definitely worth it!
Note, you don't have to beat each game to get the codes, just open them, so hopefully you won't loose too much time re-installing.
If it does work, please don't forget to mark this thread as solved. It'll help other folk who might encounter the same thing.
Also, I'm not sure if this means anything or not, but when I froze again, my headphones made a kind of "pop" sound
Uninstalling/re-installing the game is most likely the factor. Odds are your anti-virus prevented parts of the game from installing, so flagging after probably won't be enough to fix.
The other games in this collection haven't been a problem.
Audio was looping a repeated speaker sound (I don't know which onomatopoeia to describe it, it sounded like a typical speaker glitch repeating sound) and entire PC was locked up, all the monitors were still on (so it didn't all go black), mouse cursor not moving, keyboard not reacting.
Had to hard shutdown my PC and turn it back on.
PC specs in my Steam profile, but briefly:
Intel i9CPU
ASRock Z390 motherboard
32Gb RAM
1080 Ti GPU
SSD
Latest Windows and NVIDIA drivers. No Geforce program.
Also using Windows Defender as my AV, hasn't even been a problem that I know of.
The last program to do this to me was Aesprite some months ago, never solved it, and haven't used it since.
