WME runs on a custom engine, so a simple port isn't possible. It might (not a dev, not guaranteed) get ported to WME when the mod itself is done.

No plans for steam deck support unfortunately, but we do plan to support Linux! You MIGHT be able to play in desktop mode, which imo would be a better experience anyway

A WME port is probably never happening because of how different FM and 2016 OneShot's code is- aside from using RPG Maker XP, they're completely different games at this point. You can't convert all the game data to a format WME can understand, it'd require patching in all our modifications from 2016 OneShot into WME. At that point it'd be a full scale rewrite of both WME and FM

I will admit, its something we've (very) briefly considered, because RPG Maker is such a nightmare- but a rewrite of that scale would kill the project

A Linux version alone would be enough for people to play on steam deck using desktop mode (what I use most times). I just specify steam deck because that's what most people use when they aren't familiar enough with Linux to know work arounds to play windows games. Super glad to see that I might be able to play this some day and I can't wait!

Also sorry for the late reply steam loves to not properly notify me when I get responded too
