This game is definitely for those who like a good amount of challenges, problem solving, grinding, building, farming, and exploring. You definitely need a lot of patience and persistence to get the satisfaction and rewards this game can offer. Once you have pretty much find your groove and flow in surviving the game, you will see how satisfying everything you accomplished especially when building your base. Building your base, by the way, does test your patience, but this what makes it a good survival game. I like it how you can build your base however you want to look like, and not just a generic ghost building where the land just magically flattens for you and all you just have to do is gather the materials for it to be built.

I play this solo, and I love how it actually relaxes me just going around gathering, building, and farming. The storytelling is still unfinished at the moment, and it does still need some polishing on certain things. There is definitely a good amount of things to do from fighting off wolves and bears, finding where you are getting your next meal, to getting rid of the blight while balancing your health status and surviving. This game is definitely addicting, well, for me at least.

The graphics, especially during the sunrise and sunset by the lake or sea, is very nicely detailed. At night time, those blight scene is actually eerily beautiful. The lighting from your campfire at night is well done. It really looks close to a realistic feel. You can definitely get some good photo stills (granted the Dev will create some kind of photo mode).

Amazing game! The first time I've played Blight, I couldn't stop and ended up going to bed at 6:30am, which nowadays almost never happens to me.

Blight is an immersive survival game, where everything takes a long time to do: small projects, like new forge, fenced crop area etc. take at least 2 days to fully execute, You are running into different types of pressures, like hunger, spread of blight and so on. To be honest I'm usually not a fan of games, where You have limited time to react to progressing danger, but in this game, the added tension works wonders for my engagement (and also there are ways to deal with encroaching blight and even stop it by the end from what I understand - it just takes a lot of effort to do so).

Not for everyone obviously, but the immersive gameplay and the fact that You will be making very belivable stick and mud kinds of construction for most of game time, set this game as a completely different beast than most, standard survival games

Excellent game but can be very frustrating at times especially when you go to pick a log up but your man climbs on top of it instead (3 or 4 times might I add) I think the Blight storms go on a tad too long & PLEASE PLEASE give us the ability to JUMP. Apart from that everything else is ok :)
