Isonzo
End of Isonzo is near?
With the Vittorio Venetto map (I think) coming out soon this might mean that the Isonzo road is coming to an end. Does anyone think what the Devs will work on next, if not anything?

I hope they do. I think this would be the perfect time to get ideas about a new front.

I personally would hope they can mesh the Mid East and African Fronts. That would bring in the Ottomans, new factions and weapons, and different terrain then that of green Europe.

Others have stated the Serbian Front.

Whatever it is, if it is, i'm hopeful.

From the announcement on 16 Jan:

The astute among you may have noticed a distinct lack of... more roadmap. Aside from the roadmap being kinda a pain to edit, we're not ready to show what we've been working on quite yet. Rest assured the current end of the roadmap is not the end of the, well, road!

That sounds like they plan more support for Isonzo. Could mean a new roadmap will be posted with them stating the current one being a pain to edit. I would also note the original roadmap image had an arrow after the last map.
I hope one day they will make one big game with all major fronts and events of WW1. This will give room for future upgrades and service, which will determine the long life of the game. And we'll stop being afraid of the "end" of favorite game with each new part as it is now.

More content is on its way as Bishop mentioned. This along with returning events will ensure that there's always something to do in Isonzo!

Combined game on current engine would be great

Combining the games is not something that is very wise.
What would be wiser would be a game from the groundup for all theatres of the war. That way no community split caused by different gamemodes

It then runs the issue of not doing the combat styles and maps well for much/most of the war then.

I was thinking on a more gameplay oriented side, but yes that can be an issue if the focus is also on that.
Didn't say it was perfect.
