Joining public servers is fun. Most people are friendly and will provide tips to new players. It's kind of a 'pub game' where you see the same regulars around and we all chill and kill for a little while.

Just make sure not to do things like play the OP classes or refuse to escape (if robber); otherwise you might get kicked but that's not too common.

Currently its the "Swarm" cop class but sometimes also the "Surge" cop class.
Usually the first update after a new class is added it'll be unbalanced for a while and no one will want to play against it.

Haven't tried it, but on paper the Swarm class seems like it would be balanced by it's difficulty to pilot, regardless of how overtuned it is. Maybe the description makes out Swarm to be a lot harder then they actually are? But yeah it's either insanely weak or insanely strong on release for many games.

both are good solo or friends. if solo sometimes its just a try hard player ruining the fun, idiots who dont really wanna play, or the server rules might be garbage. normally the servers are pretty good tho, what i mentioned only happens sometimes.
