Can you please share an example? I understood the ASCII part, but I couldn't understand what you mean by matrix. For the ASCII effect, we can add an effect not with real characters, but graphically.

-Ascii is almost the same that matrix, expect this then Matrix have "green letters" with black backround -it's like old dos system with green letters or like system & visual like in Fallout 3 game computers or those system. Google have also some matrix animated letter effects that use usual are or based those Matrix movie visual style, this what or type or look i like to use too.

All those or what i want there is possible to convert or generate image into letters by build image look with letters & adjust dark/light, how lighter or darker image is or be, depent how many letters or what letter type there is & image have random letters or builded selected letters, what letters or letters type user was choosen.

This is not normal. Have you restarted Steam? Because the update appeared on Steam right after we talked to you.

-I don't keep computer on over the night, i have automatic steam restart after computer is on & also auto updated is on. No updates in this software over here.

-This effect was added in this app for now without update, it's was come somewhere & suddenly was added there. Im not launch this app & check this, until now.

Only thinks, what there is not in this effect is "pre-set" -for "characters set". You have to input currently set that you want to use but, there is none options or ready set to choose.

There is in offical way to choose set like this but, there is not set like this:

But, "characters set" -box not support all of thease if i input them, because size or number that i input there & also those "█▓▒░" -not are supported.

Also if you can make many variants there using diffrences "Font" -styles, the issue is that then result it's not the same or looks as orginal that in result are in other Ascii generation apps. Because, currently this effect not use offical "fonts" -or style in default what ascii arts usual use. Also this effect should take effect using "offical" -fonts or font style that real computer "dos system" use offically.

Or use grapich style or element, that can make image looks like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QBasic -interface.


Also i got input errors if you set "characters set" -box suddenly empty.

I just also noticed then there is no setup or option to choose, how many letters there is in image. This effect how light or darker image is or be, depents letters number that are included in image. This not the same that use "font-size" to effect image details, how light or darker image is or be.

So, i just want to keep orginal image scale/size & same font size but, adjust those letters numbers only to add more details (darker) or less letters to make image have less details (lighter).

When you or if you just adjust first scale setup, it's just increase or decrease image size but, not add any more letters there & only font size only effect current letters that are in image but, not numbers, that are in image.

I like to have option that keep current image size but, add more details by adding more content, those letters in same image that letters types or set that are set in "characters set".
