Helped me for now.
No long term tests done yet.
1 navigate to Cdrive, Windows, System 32, drivers, ect.
2. then in case u don't have admin or full permissions on ur account on the host file. right click on the host file and select properties, security, find ur users profile with ur name and select edit, then tick full control and then apply and ok.
3. then open the host file with notepad. which is just right click, open with and select notepad. not notepad++ or any other just notepad. then you'll be greeted with some text. go all the way down to the last text. do shift and enter twice and then copy and paste this 203.132.26.155 127.0.0.1. just do control V it'll paste it easily. then just save.
4. if it says u need to save as then u don't have full permission on the file so u just gotta do step 2
now the reason WHY it freezes is cuz it can't connect to the ubisoft servers. since they changed a bit. so it's trying to find and connect to it. but it can't. so this makes it so it connects so it doesn't freeze.
