How to mod AC1

Im trying to figure out how to mod AC1, but there are no video that explain how to mod them besides showing that modding is a thing for the game.

Do I have to just make a folder call mods within the games folder, or is there something else needed to be done.

i'm assuming u figured this out already but no. go on nexus and for any mod u want read how to install. i only know how to install eagle patch so i can't help u much other then that
