What are the items that you start the game with in the original?

I just started DX (despair difficulty), and I get the impression that they did the things that a lot of games do where they load your inventory with a bunch of items that completely trivialize the start of the game. (I will call these 'cheat' items)

In this case, in addition to two soggy uni bags, I start with a collection of average quality items: a bomb, a lightning bomb, an ice bomb, another uni bag, simple sweets, sotea.

Am I correct in assuming that everything except those two soggy uni bags are DLC 'cheat' items that got folded into DX?

Similarly, the dialog suggests that the first synthesis should have used up Sophie's entire stock of materials, whereas I still have a collection of ingredients available. Am I correct in assuming those are 'cheat' items too? (although probably not as game breaking)
