Oh I'd be so thrilled if they gave some of the following:
(Non boss/normal) Goenitz+Mature+Vice
Team WH: Hanzo+Ryoko+Dragon
Team AoF x2: John+Lee+Eiji
I also would love Shingo, Foxy and more forgotten chars from old franchises:
Mudman, Rasputin, Cap Kid, Shura, Mickey, Mickey, Jack T etc.
I personally don't like the addition of SSsho chars bc they have weapons and a long range, furthermore they had their recent SS game. Lee has claws but it's not a big deal compared to WH's ones.

Agreed with Samurai shodown characters...(already hated Nakoruru in KOF XIV...so annoying to play against).

Hard to say about team/ characters (I really like way too much KOF characters (or other SNK franchises)).
The ones I really need so far are : Kim and Duck king (just fear to never see him back sadly...the power of baby ducks haha).

Otherwise in no particular order : Saisyu Kusanagi, Eiji, Sokaku Mochizuki (Fatal Fury real bout...I know he got a stick, but I really like his style), Bob Wilson (capoeira style), Shingo...oh and now we have Metal Slug arena...why not some playable characters too (just keeping their weapons for super moves only (well in a sense they could be/feel same like fireballs and all)...otherwise just a knife/bat (or else), quite same like Ryuji Yamazaki).

Almost forget Tizok and Takuma (Mr. Karaté) and everyone from Garou more or less (nice to see Gato & B.Jenet back ! Rock howard was not a surprise, for sure).
Also he's super weird and all but Xanadu was fun in XIV (totally can get if not much players like him).

I pick those cuz I consider the current AoF team quite redundant and a waste of other important chars. They had their debut on KoF94 with 3 clonish shotos like Ryo+Robert+Takuma then they switched Takuma by another shoto-ish girl, Yuri, and finally a different fg style with King, but it's essentially the same (with King exception). It feels to me like if we had a SF guest team it would be Ryu+Ken+Dan, it really feels like a huge waste of tons of options to pick, but whatever, it's their game and they don't seem to care or notice anways.

A different case is the FFury team with 3 different styles, Terry, Andy & Joe. I like that even if I don't play with any of them.

Yeah. SSho chars have their own franchise, recent games and all fight with weapons, I feel the 2nd sp with Orochi CYS & Nak+Haho+pirate girl will be a huge waste to me. A World Heroes team would have been so much better, what a pitty.

In regards to Kim I totally forgot to mention that a "good guys team" could work with Kim+Shingo+Kensou He's kinda confirmed for next year though.

Yeap there are many WH, FF, AoF and other franchises chars that could be in XV but what the hell, they keep repeating some teams. I personally would make Robert take some holidays to make his team more varied.

I've seen some folk asking for a Mslug team, other than being similar to Ikari warriors with melee tactics, explosive projectiles, grenades, and knives I don't see how they could work here. Maybe similar to Chris Redfield on Marvel vs Capcom series? I'm not that fond of Mslug though.

Takuma imo could be in a "masters" team to make a different team, and cut the redundant shotos in the traditional AoF team. Maybe he could have worked with Heidern and another 'old' man rather than Isla and Dolores which imo feels too artificial but that's my opinion.

Tizok is in XV it's just that he's been renamed as King of Dinosaurs.

It's impossible to please everybody I know we all miss some char, at least I'm happy for CYS return but will miss Mature, Vice and Goenitz. I also read ppl asking the 2 women with Yamazaki or Rugal, just bc...? Rugal has always been their fake boss, they were just pretending besides Omega Rugal is already leaked and probably as a single slot. And Yamazaki? He was never interested in Orochi to start with, that's something ppl don't understand. Furthermore he's already in his traditional ST team.

And Goenitz would be the perfect candidate but unless they make a non boss version I don't see it happening, so maybe the secretaries will miss this KoF? Another waste. I was anxious to see their interactions with CYS as they never canonically met ever.

We shall wait for next year future dlc teams, with the partial and only Kim confirmation.

I played World of heroes, Art of fighting and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum quite a long time ago and don't remember that well about them...
Art of fighting was probably the only one that really caught me enough (not so much for the other 2).

That's some time I heard Tizok IS King of Dinosaurs...but honestly he doesn't look at all the same in my eyes (Tizoc was way more faster etc...).

Mature & Vice, I never really liked them...but I totally get some players could love their playstyle quite unique.
Goenitz was interesting too (but yes they have to change him a lot to make him not boss).

Like I said elsewhere...it could be nice if SNK do some polls for our favourite characters (&/or team)...and not just once to have a lot of clues on what might sale for them or not...
Even if that means lot of ours characters will certainly never make it in...
But with only 12 spots (each year, if they follow the same path like 2022), that is sure very tedious to do with all the possibilities (and crossovers and new (possible) characters).
