Content Ratings Requirement in Germany missing for VRoid
i just wanna whine about it. since the 15th a bunch of steams stuff is region locked for german users. including vroid studio

i can only access the discussion forum because i had vroid since before this new rule was in effect. i cant find vroid studio in searches anymore, i can not access the store page anymore.
essentially vroid shadow banned itself from germany by not filling out a little form.

Steam informed them (and everyone else) about it https://store.steampowered.com/news/group/4145017/view/4183351393029705362

in this discussion forum there has been a post about this before that i cant find anymore. i was commenting on it.

i even used the official injury form to inform vroid formally about this to be extra sure the news reaches them.

and they have not done anything about it, which is a major let down.

i only write this post honestly out of a mix of venting and desperation. i know the vroid developers never looked into the steam discussions. they never interacted on any other channel. not here or social media. only over injury forms have i ever gotten a response back but this time not even then it led to the simple solution i was asking for.
with other devs i feel like its easier to contact them somehow, and to get a response that feels motivated to get this resolved.
but vroid is different and i wish i could know how to reach them when needed.

if anyone has more ideas to reach them that has not been tried yet please let me know QwQ

Basically every software got nuked without the devs even knowing. So the devs of each software are not to blame at all because Steam didn't even informed them properly.

Update:
Steam just rolled back the software ban. Stuff should be available again in around 1 hour depending on how long their servers take to sync the changes.

i felt like the handling of this was not very organized but i didnt think its as messy as to show devs they are all good while still blocked x-x
as for steam not properly informing devs: thats also really not good, but in vroids case as i described above they were informed at the very least 2ish months ahead of time by my message to their support team. i never heard back from that mail either.

and BLESS, THEY ROLLED BACK!! vroid and a bunch of software is back like normal for me. some games are still banned in my wishlist but software at least isnt affected anymore (ꈍᴗꈍ)
