Hallo! Lead dev here. I'm happy to say that as of Version 1.5 (released June 30) all known issues are now fixed. If more pop up we'll issue a patch in the future, of course. Save games made under Version 1.3, however, may or may not load in 1.5. If you find you're having trouble, please roll back to 1.3 for the time being and then swap to 1.5 after you finish the game.
