did you start the engine?
Depending on the keyboard, the letters Z and Y may be swapped.

yes the engine is started

And the RPM set to MAX?

Engine started, set to max, it immediately turns on its own and reverses INTO the trailer at an angle with the operator simply looking backwards to one side, if I hold W it only stops, it doesnt go forward and the operator looks forward to the left instead of straight forward.

I tried remapping the buttons, still no go.
Disconnected all controllers, still no go, restart, reinstalled, restarted again = Still no go.
Game is ferked.

yup, I start my mower, press T to raise the speed and my wheels turn left and just go in a circle. Also, no reverse at all. No other controllers hooked up at all. Just keyboard and mouse. Something goofy with this game.

I will point out that I'm running the Epic version. Didn't know where else to look for a solution so that's how I ended up here. Just being forthright is all.

I got on their official Discord and someone else is having a similar issue. They are stuck in reverse with no controllers hooked up. They even disconnected the keyboard entirely and ran with no controls at all. It would seem to be bugged with today's patch.

Was going to check if there was a Discord, you beat me to it!
Makes sense, we'll just have to wait for a fix! Thx for the due diligence :)

others reporting the "keeps turning left, can't reverse" thing as well. I tried adding a controller and it's binding are all over the place. When you reinstalled did you delete the games folder and all it's temp? I hate to do that because it's like another 18gig download and I didn't want to wait around. Takes about an hour for me to download that much.

haha, I was thinking the same thing when I first seen the issue.

Yep, A friend of mine and I are having this exact issue. Can't go forward. Mower automatically reverses when throttle set to max and turns left.

I'm gonna add a +1 to this bug. I turn on my first test drive, and it goes forward, left, and no negotiating. On top of that, I wanted to use controller.. Hah, game said no. Camera is on Approximately 1000% sensitivity, with joystick or mouse. Completely fine with no controller connected..
Also an Epic user
