It's not a bad game, but it's also hard to recommend. Exploration, story, enemy variety, characters, visuals - the game has it all. On the other hand, the translation is pretty horrible, but boss fights are even worse.

Almost all boss fights throw some gimmick into a fight, forcing you to focus on two things at the same time - dealing with a boss and the said gimmick. Sounds fun, right? WRONG. The game feels like it was completely not designed to support this. Attacks are often overlapping, leaving no space to dodge, or bosses are simply too aggressive to focus on other things. The best way to actually beat a boss is to just pray to rngesus to get easy attack patterns.

I would forgive that and even recommend the game if it wasn't for the final boss, or rather boss rush. The difficulty spike is insane. I played the whole game on hard, but it made me switch to easy to just get over it. It really spoiled the fun I had with the game.
