genuinely the best full-package rhythm game experience you can have on pc without piracy or subscription based payment

worth it even without dlc, though the dlcs add positively to the experience with lots of song variety from old classics to recent works and many additions to ui customization

high effort charting and fully keysounded charts with impressive bga, high difficulty ceiling, sorting options, multiple modes of play, dan/course system, performance charts and stats, multiplayer lobbies

technical performance customization features like the game's polling rate and low latency options

keybound music fx accessible while playing, live control mode that lets you tweak ui elements and offset adjustment seperately for monitor and audio latency (with a wizard feature) while being able to see what it looks and plays like in gameplay

the ui assets overall are super high quality, every panel, note skin, theme etc is polished and able to synergize with each other

silly achievements that are genuinely funny and can be challenging

its just a great experience overall no matter if you're a sweat, beginner or just wanna vibe to bangers it's worth it

I have been having a lot of fun with this game. I do not consider myself very good at it but there are plenty of charts and at varying difficulties to still have a good time and improve at the game. The music selection is quite good too. I am really glad that I gave this a chance when it was on sale.
