First of all I think I think this game is more a middle thumbs up. Rather than a negative but honestly it's starting to feel like more towards the negative side for me.
Cons
Oh man, where do I start. The lack of tutorial of and wanting to revisit over stuff that I just can't remember what does or things do. For example these shards you get for completing a module, like I can't remember or see anywhere where its used for. The machine translations for a lot of english stuff. Even when you put it in english it still has a TON of stuff that they didn't translate or couldn't translate (?)
Maybe I didn't see or just overlook the module stuff of replay ability. Like for example I did the first module (the prologue before the main hub world) several times and thought to myself. "Oh I can go back get endings or see things I couldn't do before hand on my 2nd or 3rd play through." And not worry at all. I was wrong lmao. Like after I finished the module, thinking it was exactly like the prologue and finished the story for it. I thought I can go back to it, but I can't. Because I cleared it with the characters? Like I just feel so teased into thinking from the first prologue that I can do the same thing to 2nd one. Honestly it might be a nitpick or something. But i'm REALLY REALLY bummed out. Because I know I missed some stuff from my first play through and now I can't back to it? Like I might need a break from this game. Because i'm just so bummed out thinking that I could the same thing with the prologue and I didn't know till after I finished the 2nd storyline.

I truly do wanna like the game and give it a thumbs up but just feels like an early access game to me. Don't get me wrong I will give the game more attempts sometime later. But i'm just so frustrated. Maybe I just didn't read everything slowly and carefully.

Pros.
Art style, I personally love.
Lovecraftian lore wise stuff.
DnD lovecraftian style gameplay. Example being like dodging and hitting attacks for critical. Or trying to heal yourself and accidentally hurting yourself in the process if failed. Stuff like that.
Choices matter with dialogue and rolls. Unlike most games nowadays.
Multiple endings
Needing to use a bit of your brain to solve issues and needing equipment or items within the module to help you out. Example being like stealing a key. Or finding a crowbar. Eventually discovering more secrets or solving issues.

I refunded due to poor machine translation and AI voiceovers. I tried turning the voiceovers off entirely, but that did not help.

However, I'll keep this on my wishlist, as it does seem like a genuinely interesting game. If the game gets properly localised, either by a professional team or by its playerbase, and the AI voiceovers can actually be turned off, I will give it another try. And in that case, I'll amend my review as well.

Hopefully the devs keep on keeping on and turn this thing around!
