It doesn't really matter if crits bypass accuracy or not, maxing out crit will only get you to like 60%. I assume, that is, seeing how I'm at 50,8% with 30/40 in the Wraith crits.
For all I can tell, the game first checks your accuracy, than your crit rate.
Though for funsies, if you have time and resources to spare, you can try that out with a character not in Wraith mode after resetting talents and minimising accuracy in favour of crit rate, though if you're in endgame you'll probably have a hard time trying to achieve that before the next world hits...come to think of it, I think we're all way past 100% crit rate outside of wrait and hitting monsters in W6 was still an issue. Crit does not bypass accuracy.
