The 3D models in the game are all very basic, but the particle effects I made are very intensive. (I also imagine the graphics will be the bottleneck here over the CPU).
My current graphics card is a 970, and this was also the lowest end card I could test and develop for. With this card I could run an average of 100-120 fps while playing the game on a 1440p resolution.
If you dont mind sharing your specs I could look into and see if there is a potential quick compatibility issue I could fix!!!!
And also some side questions which could help as well would be;
What is the Jerkyness like? Does it seem like the framerate is bad or is it something else?
Does it only occur when you try to stream and play the game? does it happen when you have no recording software running?
Also a quick apology for the late reply! and I hope you had a great new year :)
Besides that, the game feels absolutely awesome to play!
Thank you very much for this heads up! I was notified of this issue from another amazing player and have been working to fix it!! They helped me find the issue and told me it was related to there being no frame cap in the game. So I will be adding in some frame cap options very soon.
There should be an update within the next few days. And if you could let me know if this fixes the lagspikes for you that would be very awesome :)
Alright, sounds good!
Okay!!!!! That took a wholeeeeee lot longer to get sorted and bug fix than I thought, but its finally done!! There are now framecap options in the options menu, and they should fix the random lagspikes that are encountered and move your camera around. :)
So the frequency of the lagspikes seems to have gone down, which is good, but the camera issue is still there when it does lag. I got a few clips of this in action, that both happened during a run today (but these are extreme cases, usually it's not that bad so it's not THAT big of a deal)

Thank you so much for that video!!!! The editing was hilarious too hahaha but goshhhhhh I was really hoping to have fixed it haha. I'll definitely keep trying though!!!
As a quick side question do you have V sync enabled or disabled when this happens? I also might ask some additional questions as I try to really narrow down the problem!
Also you are being a huge help and from the bottom of my heart thank you for this. :)
Another thing that i noticed that may or may not be related is that the lower i set the frame limit - the higher my sensitivity gets. I don't think that should happen.
And no worries, in fact i'd be down to help even more if you wanna do some bug fixing, cuz i sure have found some bugs while running this absolute masterpiece of a game!
Thank you very much for the kind words friend!! :)
I spent a large amount of time working on a new patch and I actually feel some confidence that it might have fixed the problem!!! It is currently building right now, and I opened a new discussion topic specifically regarding the bug so it could be more focused and I could potentially get some other users feedback as well. When the patch is live and you get some time to test it out I would love to hear if the problem is still there for you (or better/ worse as well) in the other discussion page!
