Now I am more centain that's Stan and Mitch's encounter
look around, see if there's anything to interact

What am I missing, The game starts with a bunch of questions, then what looks like a gas station robbery then a radio news broadcast, then I am on a motorcycle along a cliff, with what looks like a GoPro point of view from the right foot pedal. Who am I supposed to talk to?

Ahh all good
Sorry that we didn't make it too clear that you had to find the problem yourself lol
there are some "hidden" interaction in the game like that too
always have to look around

Sometimes you have to find the "hidden" characters
sometimes you have to interact with objectives and NPCs, or walk pass a "checkpoint" to trigger the encounters
and sometimes you have to wait for the a while for those "main characters" to show up
