Infection Free Zone is an interesting take on the whole Zombie Survival genre, being an RTS-style game where you can survive the zombie apocalypse in your own home...well, unless you live in a really low density area.

The Good: Being able to fight in your own home town, even in your own home, for the survival of the human race. This is something that I think most Zombie Apocalypse aficionados absolutely have wanted...although I think they wanted an FPS more than an RTS. The fact you can do it is amazing, however. The texturing and lighting of the world really lend well to a post apocalyptic environment, and events in the game make sense.

The Bad: Early access game, so there are minor bugs sometimes, but nothing game breaking that I've run into. The textures are a bit same-y when it comes to building, and strip malls often have issues where one store that exists will dominate the whole mall...that could just be an engine limitation.

The Ugly: This is where I usually put something that particularly bugs me or is game breaking, but I haven't found anything in the game so far that qualifies. I mean, it's hard to beat on an early access game, but they've done a pretty good job so far.

Verdict: I highly recommend this game, not just because of the wow factor of being able to fight for your home, but because they genuinely seem to be taking the time to make it work well.

Game WAS....WAS fairly balanced....Not no More..... A Mixed horde attack of 100+... Some Brain Dead Developer made the Game Completey unplayable, save you money and Buy a game that you can enjoy and doent kill you off the first 1/2 hour of playing it

I like the game but they have a lot of small things to fix. Your people have guns but the firing radius is too small. Guns shoot far specially automatic guns.... Also the zombies run full sprint like they were track and field super stars. I mean, common sense stuff to fix. Why they haven't fixed it, I have no idea. They focused so much on maps that they forgot about the game. We have google maps bro... I don't need a game that shows me maps. Also buildings requiring a lot wood and other materials, they already built... why do I need materials for a building I took over?
