A game that shouldn't be missing from your library if you're passionate about trucks, offroad adventures, or are simply looking for a relaxing experience.

Pros:

The maps look great, the game's mechanics for driving through mud or snow are very well implemented, and the truck details are at an impressive level. On top of that, you can customize them as you like, and there are also some upgrades to discover in various locations.
It's hard to get bored, even though you're essentially doing the same thing most of the time. You transport various materials from point A to point B and have to cross different, sometimes if not always challenging, terrains.
Each area presents a challenge, and there's a good variety in the level of difficulty.
A wide range of trucks, tractors, and off-road vehicles. Not all are excellent or usable everywhere, and you'll likely stick to using the best ones. However, the rest of the fleet can still serve other purposes, such as being refueling points.
Lots of DLCs that come with new vehicles or mechanics. Not all of them are amazing, but there's plenty to choose from.
Game is getting upgrades and new content. And even if not, if you start now it will "eat" hundreds of hours with what is already present.

Cons:

The world feels almost lifeless. Yes, there are birds or certain characters you see from a distance, but they disappear as you approach. In the latest season, they added a character who looks rather odd, holding a mug and he's present on balconies or at bus stops, no matter the time of day. To me, it feels strange but I guess this is a step forward to make the world a bit more alive.
Forced and exaggerated challenges and obstacles along the routes. There are areas where it makes no sense to have a pile of rocks or some other areas filled with so many small stones. It seems like the developer responsible for this went overboard when implementing them, and it's clear that these obstacles are artificially placed. Tbh, in the latest seasons I think this has been lowered a bit.
Speaking of game logic, it feels like no one exists on these maps, and you're delivering materials to places where no one seems to need them. For instance, there are scattered rocks and obstacles at the entrance to an industrial site. Logically, if someone were there, they'd probably take care of clearing these obstacles. Similarly, on the maps, if the game is trying to give the impression of civilization, it seems like the locals are completely indifferent to what happens on their roads. Nobody works, and you're the only one doing the hard labor. It would make sense for there to be some local interest in clearing central roads or at least those in supposedly populated areas. For example, there are massive rocks right next to houses—why isn't anyone there to remove them? Or fallen trees in the middle of a industry. I think they could find a solution to this, but if they haven't done so by now, they likely won't in the future.
On some maps, there are invisible obstacles, or your truck takes damage from seemingly nothing or even from little rocks.
Certain upgrades for specific trucks are located on maps from other DLCs. This means you need to buy another DLC to gather all the upgrades for a particular truck or off-road vehicle.
Trucks from DLCs are clearly favored. It feels a bit like pay-to-win, even though it’s a single-player game. This isn’t necessarily a major downside (for me it's not and I kinda understand this), but many of the base trucks become obsolete once you access DLC vehicles, for me anyway as my fleet is full of these DLC's trucks.

While the cons might seem like a lot, they don’t make the game unplayable. You get used to them, not a big deal, and the overall experience the game offers (at least for me) makes it easy to overlook these downsides.
