SnowRunner
How relaxing is this game?
Is it more like a simulation or relaxing driving with huge vehicles?

I fall asleep
Not at all relaxing! Well, some easy bits can be relaxing - eg long drives on sealed roads - but much of it is nerve wracking, teeth and buttock clenching terror as you attempt to guide the truck either through mud an snow or along narrow rocky tracks clinging to cliff sides.
But it's fun!

As far as I can tell SR is not a sim like American Truck Simulator, although it has very detailed truck interiors and scenery. It's best played on a PC with a controller, or on Playstation.
Not sure if you're trolling, but I play this game while watching movies nearly 100% of the time, the rest of the time I'm falling asleep while playing. I play this game because I can zone out. Maybe I've just played it too much, idk.
In my case I feel it´s like dark souls on wheels. Just kidding, the game has its moments of frustration but 90% of the time is super nice and relaxing. I´m addicted to it.
Maybe I was exaggerating a bit - even while plugging away through a muddy flooded forest I usually just sit back and enjoy the ride ,just guiding my truck. And I'm addicted to it too.
The game is super chill.
It's my favorite game to play while listening to podcasts or background streams and such.

Very chill game.
THX GUYS! I WILL BUY IT!

Have fun taking a nap.
While often it is enjoyable at times it is far from relaxing as you don't want your truck to roll over, slip off course and roll over, damage it's suspension to the extend it lowers enough to create a leaking fuel tank and such. Especially not far from base or long into a long range mission.

The collapsing rock edges introduced a season ago was a nice touch to, i skipped a heartbeat when that first happened :-)

It is not too demanding though....replaying Red Ded Redemption 2 now and being jumped by gangs and bounty hunters and following shootouts when "off road" in the wilderness is a bit more tense :-)) Nothing beats a horse off road though :-)))

Nah. Once you get good at the game you sleep through it.
Go offroading in a loaf and find out how relaxing it is ;)
I hardly ever use roads; I take the shortest route, going almost straight through. I pass through forests and mountains that no one else dares to enter to reach my destination.
If you are not age challenged, as some posters here would seem to be, you will not fall asleep playing this game, enjoy the driving, I do.:steamhappy:
It completely depends on your experience and intuition with truck or off-road driving in real life... if you have done heavy truck or off-road things in real life, your instincts will be good. If not... you'll learn!
