I just bought the game on Epic Games since it was on sale and it continued from Chapter 2, which pleased me a lot, so it seems that the game picks up from the demo, even if you downloaded the first two chapters on Steam and bought the game on a different portal.

At the end of the second paragraph of the description on the store page for Chapters 1 & 2,
“Whole saved progress from the free version will be automatically transferred into the full version of The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante.”
It is also stated on your website here[en.101xp.com].

I know this is rather late now, but I’ve checked myself and your “demo” save is in fact transferred to the full version automatically, achievements and all. Have fun playing!
