I just got this quest also and same problem. I have no idea what i'm supposed to craft. Anyone figured this out yet?

Still having a problem a year later - any fixes?

You need to craft a turnip tv and place it down.

I’m having this same problem. Could you tell me what ya mean by ‘place it down’? I’ve made multiple TVs and placed them on the ground as I would any other item. Is there something else I need to do with it? Thanks for any help. Can’t seem to find the answer to this one to move on.

Are you sure it's the right TV "Turnimp TV"? It's basically a lamp and should be placed outside. That and crafting rather than buying it should be all that's needed for the quest.

Same problem. I've made a couple and put them down but the quest remains 0% in the bar and she just keeps saying to put down one or two

My best guess is you are putting the wrong one. It's not the red imp looking one it's the white one with a sort of leafy antenna.
