Anyone knows what the 3rd boss does exactly? It seems to attack with its tentacles but is there no way to avoid them? It seems they always reach me, however far I might be.

1. What does the "?" item do? I thought it was going to turn into or give a random item, but the Birthday Gift item does the latter, and I don't think the item's visual changes when you pick it up and see on the left. 2. I picked up a item that says "chance to spawn flamethrower" but I didn't find a flamethrower for that run (I could have bad eyesight tho). Does it drop from a random enemy holding a normal weapon? 3.
