Once you've beat the game, there's a message in the credits that gives you a big hint.

First, make Bru-ha angry. If you haven't figured that out yet, fnishing a round with zero stars makes Bru-ha angry.

The rest of the stuff, you can do in the store immediately after making Bru-ha angry.
You want to make fire come out of Bru-ha's eyes, which you can do in the store by interacting with the right option and *then* steal something. That combination will trigger what you're looking for.

I usually try to do this after round two. I know some other people have commented they do this after round three. The main reason is that you'll want to power-up your ship a bit before triggering any bonus rounds.

I do it after round 5, so I can get the free upgrade in round 4 first.

The first reply explains how to get the first two extra levels. That works on any game mode. But if you're playing on Normal Mode, you still won't get level 11 at the end. To get level 11, you need to be playing on Arcade, One-Hand or Expert Mode.

I think Expert Mode unlocks after you've beaten level 11.

I did make Bru-ha angry and fire come out of her eyes, but still 8 stages. Game is over after Tempsta.

To steal from Bru-Ha: Click repeatedly on her lamp until the candle goes out, then wait for the lamp to settle, then click repeatedly on it again until the lamp falls of its hook. Then grab a free upgrade while Bru Hu is ducked below the counter. You can steal up to three total upgrades (one per round) this way, if the third time you steal when she has fire in her eyes.

When you do all the steps to make old Bru Ha really angry, you'll fight a special boss battle. Then you'll be given a choice to either help or not help her. You need to choose to help her to play another level with old Bru Ha to eventually unlock the old Bru Ha gallery images.

If you're playing on any mode other than Normal, and you made Bru Ha really angry, and you beat the special Bru Ha boss battle, then at the end of the game after Tempesta you'll automatically play another level with young Bru Ha. This is how you unlock the young Bru Ha gallery images. You can do this whether or not you choose to help old Bru Ha.

To play a run with the full 11 levels: play on some game mode other than Normal (so there will be 8 normal levels), beat the special Bru Ha boss battle, choose to help old Bru Ha and beat her normal level, and then beat the young Bru Ha level at the end after Tempesta. That's 8 normal levels, 1 special boss battle, 1 level for old Bru Ha and 1 level for yound Bru Ha. 11 levels total.

You only need to beat young Bru Ha's level once for the image gallery for her to unlock (though you'll still need to beat her several more times to unlock all the clothing options).

But, you need to beat the special boss battle and old Bru Ha's level four times before the image gallery for old Bru Ha unlocks. I'm not sure why, but that's how it is.

Have the steps changed? I've gotten the achievement for making her angry and have stolen from her, but there was no extra stage after the 8th.

To trigger the special levels, you need to first zero-star a level (by taking too long to beat it), then try to gossip with Bru Ha, then steal from her, in that order. To get the Young Bru Ha level after Tempesta you need to do all this in some game mode other than Normal or Easy. At least that's how it worked when I did it. I don't know if something has changes since then.

Question: how do you steal (click the lamp) in the switch version.
