2 Tricks to manipulate your opponent
Tip 1 : if you put the Spiral Spear Strike card case aka Gaia OTK structure deck, your opponent has a very high chance of letting you play first.

Tip 2 : if you take long time to take actions, your opponent has a decent chance to rage quit and go next.

fake snake-eyes/diabelstar, activate reasoning.
Has the opp the ballz to still call level 4?

faking a structure to evoke pity is something i wouldnt expect to work on a broader basis.

How is #2 worth it though? Like yeah, I'm not going to stick around when you need 10 seconds to decide what to search for but all you gained are two legacy packs from it.
Number 1 undoubtedly awful. It is hoping your opponent to do something for you isn't something I expect in yugioh.

Number 2 is just a bad sportsmanship. If you don't even want to play properly why even bother playing the game? You lost nothing by not playing it. Anyone can left the game for several month and they can catch up in just a matter of days.

And here I thought the post is about going to battle phase as soon as you get into the 2nd turn and such

You expected too much out of somebody in Bronze

I really don't see that working against most players in plat, or gold for that matter. Besides, it's drip or drown and I didn't clean out the store of all of the cosmetics for nothing.

Lmao, yeah that could work.

Whenever I take long enough breaks to end up back in Silver. I can get some to auto concede by just playing Bonfire or going straight to the battle phase.

Not surprised OP would come to these conclusions as well.
neither of these are true or work
Number 2 isn't a trick. Its just breaking the rules until the opponent leaves because you suck so much.

In a better world, the second one would get him banned for being the actual definition of slow play. Unfortunately, people like him abused the button for reporting that so Konami laid off the intern responsible for looking at reports :steamsad:.
No one is going to pay attention to what card art you use, and slow play is a bad habit to get into. I would not do either of these lol.

How can you tell that they are neither true nor work?

"TrUsT mE BrAh" i guess>?

Number 2 is 100% true in lower ranks.
Always timer cancer decks regardless of you winning or losing. Is what #2 should actually say.

I wonder... if enough people did this to be an actual problem, would Konami start actually enforcing the rule against it or just shut down Master Duel entirely?

I've spent months playing with the gaia deck box and still had the usual one in maybe 50 games where my opponent won the coin flip and made me go first. And it was always mikano or cyber dragons or some other blind second deck when they did.

As was already said, number 2 is not a "trick", it's just breaking one of the two rules the game has
