Number 2 is just a bad sportsmanship. If you don't even want to play properly why even bother playing the game? You lost nothing by not playing it. Anyone can left the game for several month and they can catch up in just a matter of days.

Whenever I take long enough breaks to end up back in Silver. I can get some to auto concede by just playing Bonfire or going straight to the battle phase.
