Save Game Issues: Notified Capcom?
How many of you who are affected by the save game issue have contacted Capcom directly via e-mail?

Could you also share the replies you got to help fellow hunters and to open up a general case?

Hello (My name)

Thank you for the information provided.

We are aware of a save data issue that some players are experiencing with Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on Steam, and are currently investigating the issue. For now, please keep a backup of your local save files, even though you're not sure if they have been overwritten or not, just in case, and be sure to store them in a safe place.

We hope for your understanding and patience on this matter.

Best Regards,

CAPCOM USA Customer Support

I'll lyk whenever they decide to respond.
DisbandedBag7 30 Oct, 2022 @ 3:20am
I've sent them an email to (info-asia@capcom.com) on October 1st telling them what happened and sent them links to forums where others are also talking about having the same problem.

No response since. (Maybe my way of writing is terrible? I'm kind of a dumbass.) I've also tried asking others to do the same: send them emails to get Capcom's attention. No luck.

Aye, I remember your posts from the other thread.
Maybe a different Capcom email address helps? They responded to feedback@capcom.com if I recall it right (for Europeans). For U.S.A. it would be support@capcom.com
But either way I am bummed out if they treat any of the email addresses differently, just because you used the Asian one.
DisbandedBag7 30 Oct, 2022 @ 10:31pm
Cheers! When I first tried to send the email, the Capcom site didn't give me an address. Instead it's a "Fill out a form" thing. I filled it out and got an error. Then I was sent to the Capcom Asia page (I can't remember the detail. Maybe it's because of my location?)

I've sent the emails again to both feedback@capcom.com and support@capcom.com. We'll see what happens.

Clarify : I've also tried asking others to do the same: send them emails to get Capcom's attention. No luck.

I should've phrased it better. I asked a few people to send emails to Capcom to let them know about the problem. No one has sent it, at least not that I know of.

i also just sent capcom another message, i made a new save as my old was gone for about a month, and i just got another error saying i have no save, after working fine. i honestly give up on this game, ive been trying for a full month to get it to work with me, but i cant even restart. ill let you know how they respond this time when they get back to me
DisbandedBag7 31 Oct, 2022 @ 4:14am
Update: They've responded with "Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff To add additional comments, reply to this email."

It's better than the last time where I got nothing at least. Make sure you use support@capcom.com or feedback@capcom.com. They don't seem to respond with info-asia@capcom.com.

Updated. They've actually responded asking for more details. It's not an automatic response this time.

Does that folder in that weird address actually exist? :'-D
DisbandedBag7 2 Nov, 2022 @ 4:23am
Yeah it does. But I use E instead of C though. I've also found out that your [Steam user ID Number] is actually the same ID you use when someone wants to add you as a friend.

I've always thought it was that number in your "My Account" URL. You learn something every day LOL.

No idea about the friend adding or such. I just know Steam uses several forms of ID and I think for your folder it should be 96079858

Yup. That numbers the friend code. When I go to "Add a Friend", that number shows up.

Happy Hunting

Wow. Them being aware. And investigating. It surprises me.
Though I would not be surprised if your contribution to that is significant. Like, as you can tell by the thread, pretty much no one, as in not even a handful of people, seemingly ever written Capcom about the issue.
DisbandedBag7 3 Nov, 2022 @ 11:09am
I hope they'll address this publicly, then we'll know for sure that they are doing something about it It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they'd had no idea all of this was going on.

Also, I have to thank you as well for suggesting the emails and telling me all about this stuff. Cheers!

I must say I can totally understand why very few have written emails to Capcom. The contact site is pretty confusing. And the first time I sent an email I got no response. There's probably many other reasons as well, but that's another can of worms

Anyways Happy Hunting!
And Thank you!
