The Register element used to have 3 inputs but now it only has 2 (Save Enable and Save value)

Sorry, what? I just checked - 8bit registers have 3 inputs: enable output/load (bit), save (bit), value to save (byte). And one byte output.

We must be talking about completely different components, or playing completely different versions of the game...

So it looks like one bit to tell it to save a value to the register, and the current value is always output from the register. Seems simple enough.

The youtube walkthroughs are not useless. The concepts are the same, even with your new register component.

If you understand what is actually happening in the walkthrough, then applying it to the new components shouldn't be too difficult - ask specific questions if you are not understanding how to translate a specific concepts.

If you don't understand what the walkthrough is doing, then sorry, you wont be happy with anything else and just giving you the solution is going to be counter productive. Future levels build on understanding the previous levels, and just copying the solution without understanding means you will just struggle even more.

Use Switch instead of Load Enable at the output end.
