I don't usually write reviews, but:
I had high hopes for Pirates VR: Jolly Roger, but it ended up being a frustrating experience. The visuals are impressive, and the game does a decent job of creating an immersive pirate atmosphere, but that's where the praise ends. The gameplay feels shallow, and combat is dull and unrefined—just swinging weapons around without any real impact or strategy.

Exploration is another letdown. The climbing mechanics might be engaging at first, but they quickly become repetitive. The world, while visually appealing, feels empty and lifeless, with little to interact with. It’s more of a backdrop than a place to genuinely explore.

Technical issues make things worse. Performance problems like stuttering and shaky visuals ruin immersion, and the controls are frustratingly unreliable. Grabbing objects feels imprecise, interacting with the environment is awkward, and invisible walls constantly break any sense of freedom.

And then there’s the biggest issue: the game is way too short. After barely four hours, it already felt like there was nothing left to do. For a game that’s supposed to pull you into an exciting pirate adventure, it fails miserably at delivering depth and longevity. Pirates VR: Jolly Roger has potential, but right now, it feels like an unfinished, superficial experience that lacks the polish and substance needed to make it truly worthwhile.
