please help me i cant open zeepkist it just keeps me on the loading screen
i used to be able to play the game but since one time i turned my laptop off whilst playing it it just dosent work

Hey Alfie, try to Validate Local Files in Steam.

1. Open your Game Library on Steam.
2. Right-click on your game.
3. Select Properties from the menu.
4. In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel.
5. On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'
6. Steam will then verify your files.

If there are any files that were damaged due to your shutting the computer down, this should identify them and re-download them from Steam.

Hm. Then I'd really suggest joining the Zeepkist Discord. Yannic (the author and developer) is active there, and the community there is very friendly and helpful. Maybe someone will be able to help.

If you're stuck on the loading screen at "Initialising Progression Manager" then it sounds like the progression file may have been corrupted when you shutdown the PC while Zeepkist was open.

"Progression.zeepsave" can be found in "%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Steelpan Interactive\Zeepkist" and there may be a backup you can use in the "Technical\Backup" folder

Hi, i am having the same issue. My son loves this game but it is stuck on this loading screen. I have deleted the progression.zeepsave and restored one from the backup map. This didnt work. I have even deleted the whole user profile map for zeepkist. This dousnt resolve the issue either. It does make a new progression.zeepsave.

I have removed and reinstalled the game. Checked file integrity etc.
