Trine 4 was certainly refreshing after the failure of the 3rd game. So long as this one doesn't launch as an early access title, it should be good.

Neat! Hopefully it's a bit more engaging than Trine 4 however. I found it a bit limiting and I missed the more sandbox approach of the first two games (eg: Thief grapple could dynamically hit wood at any location but iirc Trine 4 only had specific points you could latch onto as one example).

Also I take it finishing the Trine 3 story has well and truly been abandoned?
