I did not even know we had a Trine 3 or Trine 4. Maybe I dont love these games as much as I thought.
Might be that they arent so great or innovative over time. Maybe kill the franchise and start something new?
Or at least give us a different game each time instead of the same thing with different colors?

Trine 4 is actually really good in my opinion. I will not take Trine 4 slander, but 3 I haven't played and heard was ♥♥♥♥ anyway. No doubt they are cashing in, but I will probably buy 5. Hoping there will be pre-release reviews so I don't have to blindly preorder to get the discount. The fact that such a preorder discount is there (and it goes away the day the game launches) Is a bit telling to me they might be trying to swindle people. If I do preorder, it will be a day or 2 before the game launches. If I do it now, I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of the refund window.

The 14-day refund window does not start until the release date. Don't forget the 2-hour playtime limit. See here ("Refunds on Pre-Purchased Titles"): https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/

It doesn't? Interesting, I thought it was straight at purchase. Thanks for the info, but I am probably going to wait for pre-release reviews if there are any.

No thanks. I like the Trine series as it is, I don't need another game overloaded with supposedly innovative garbage mechanics and fancy graphics that runs like crap, even on my high-end system with RTX 4090 + 7800X3D.

Well, I never said ♥♥♥♥ about fancy graphics but if you have to make up lies to get your point across you go right ahead.
I'm sure you got a wonderful future in politics.

I've played them all. This is the correct answer.

Real shame too since we don't get many games with this fairytale theme. They get the atmosphere right while botching the gameplay.

Not even sure why I'm giving them another chance with 5 cause they also can't take criticism (and they should definitely be grateful). Gotta be one of the least creative devs I've ever come across.

Trine 4 is amazing. Trine 3 is trash.

OP plays Need 4 Speed products and finds no similar issue with Subnautica: Below Zero so he'll probably need to revisit his world view at some point.
