Framerate above 200 FPS causes physics bugs, which can result into soft locks

Another thing to note is that the in-game FPS limiter doesn't work properly - going above 30 FPS it always limits several frames above the actual limit and the higher the limit, the bigger the difference (see the upper left corner).

The bug seen on the video is a known issue. Not actually about physics so much as just short frame time: the projectile doesn't have enough time to travel during the first frame to clear the collision of the cannon. I think we fixed these issues up to 144 or 160 FPS, but didn't actually have time to fix them for real. Luckily few people want to play above 160 FPS.

Don't know about FPS limit. I've heard before that it's not accurate (in previous games), but I don't think we have had time to look into it either.

Up to 200 FPS it works fine, just above it starts disappearing. This is a second place in the game in which projectile doesn't spawn, the first being here:

The in-game fps limiter works but yes, it's inaccurate.

I also had issues getting some collectibles on Level 4 due to playing at 120 fps. Temporarily limited to 30 fps and the collectibles spawned properly.
