I play the game for some hours, and I have still no achievements :/

My fakir seems to be doing all the work, doing other artists cards, stashing all the jugglers balls and so on. Doing animations when that happens, mostly stepping on nails.

So one of my guys keeps acting instead of the correct character when I play cards. I will play an acrobat card or a juggler, and my fakir will perform the action. most of the time, but not always, so it's hard for me to know which characters I should be giving buffs to. Currently in Salt Lake City. Is this on purpose? Is this a glitch? How do I fix? Update: it seems to be SPECIFIC cards? like it thinks that one or two of the juggler's cards belong to the Fakir. There's quite a number of classes in the game, and as best I can guess, it looks like each of them has a unique alternate variant that can only be picked up on a quest.
