Apple sauce

I can’t find a way to make apple sauce on the cooking pot. Is this a bug, am I not using the right station? Or something else? What gives?

Its an unlock from the exploration skill Adventurer's Cookbook level 2. But yeah its weird how the quests sometimes ask for non-base recipes sometimes.
