Lab DLC DNA Sequencer
Has anyone managed to do this? I don't know if I'm just really stupid but I haven't been able to do it at all
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

By moving the left and right sides of the DNA strand, you must align them so that the sequences inside the box match. The pairs that match are A-T, T-A, C-G, G-C
Here I send you a screen of example how correct pairs looks like:

(If you get a difficult puzzle layout, you can close the minigame and reopen it — a new layout will be generated, and it might be easier)
Really struggling with the dna sequencing to be honest it's become a total wall for the dlc because of it I've been unable to access pretty much anything because I can't get past it.....
the way i did it was i just looked for large chunks of one specific letter, and then matched it to the other side. usually, part of the chunks of letters is in the sequence, so finding matching chunks on either side/strand made it a lot easier for me to start consistently sequence dna.

its definitely an annoying mini game though, and it requires a lot of trial and error to properly match stuff up

I'm getting around to trying it again and I just can't seem to do it? Even resetting it multiple times there just isn't a solution I can physically get.

One of the variations had 6 A's on the left side all together with at most 3 T's together on the right side.
Another example, 4 C's on the left side all together and not even more then 2 G's on the right side.

It almost feels like I must have messed up somehow earlier in the process to be getting these impossible sequences but I don't think you can?

The simplest and most effective strategy is brute force if you don't wanna bother trying to recognize patterns, and hoping the others line up.

Move left branch all the way to the top, and begin with top left 3. A,T,C,G recall A-T and G-C vice versa is also acceptable.

Using the first three digits in top left, match them with the right side, if no possible match exists, move left side down one character. repeat.

example -> top left is ATG, but there is no variation of TAC, therefore move it down to the next character TGA, and continue to do so until there is a match, and press the solve button. doesnt work? must not match lower down, move left down again and continue. doing this you'll eventually brute force them all in about 3-5 minutes per.
The DNA sequencer is so stupid, cant get it to work after several tries, even bruteforcing doesnt work. Worst dlc yet (close after supermarket).
