Maybe both, but my early experience is just having melee enemies spawn on top of me and get free hits and ranged enemies that fire large projectiles at any angle through surfaces. Would be manageable if it didnt take so many shots to kill these enemies, sometimes i struggled to make forward progress just because it spawned enemies faster than i could kill them, even using a surprisingly flaccid ult for something on a 40 second cool down. This is my first roguelite, so having that in mind Positives: : 1) The pixel art is amazing; 2) The gameplay is fun; It plays very well with keyboard and mouse. Is the Jester the only NPC you can do anything with in the hub. If I remember correctly in the demo you were able to do stuff with the others aswell, or not?
