I also really like tan skin tones, and we’ll definitely include them in the future!
Of the five characters available, only one has blue eyes. There is one that has true blonde hair, and one other that has bright yellow hair with blue highlights. The 6th character has blue eyes, but they are a redhead (orange hair is considered a redhead). I've always been a fan of character customisation. I agree with having additional character customisation options, especially alternate costumes. I just don't agree with the statement that the artist has made lots of blonde haired characters. There seems to be a greater variety of hairstyles and eye colors than what the OP has suggested.
this reads more like a demand over a suggestion with how its written, anyways it sounds like you want a specific character style/design to which i would say making the game mod friendly would work better for you over adding alt skins as each character at this time is unique enough to stand apart from one another, even while sharing slight similarities with another
Granted, these are standard colors for the archetypes - bunny girl, elf and fox girl - but the colors are defo overused if the cast isn't expanding any time soon.
The design as a stand-alone character is good. Everyone can see the subtle differences in eye and hair color.
It is just that it would look better when the characters are aligned if the colors were clearly separated.
For example, if some characters' hair colors were blue or silver, we would have gotten a much different result.
ok so if it's not a request then it's a demand and if so i don't think the player base is in any position to make demands if you don't like the character design then look into how to replace / modify models in the game (would be nice if the dev('s) add in mod support later on)
Yes, the game clearly is using old promotional art for their banner. However the reality of it remains. This is not in the final product that we have received, and the game itself is not reflective of this. My post was simply pointing out this fact, and indirectly pointing out that the OP had judged the roster of the game based on the banner, and not the actual game itself. If you look closely you can see that the 6 characters in the banner are the same ones in the game (even the yet to be released 6th character), but some have slightly different designs. If the OP took a second to go through the screenshots they would realised the change right away. Secondly the OP does in fact own the game, and as such they should have known this from the start.
With these details in mind, and how the OP structured the post I got the impression they were in fact giving instruction on a specific character type that they want. IE "Don't forget tan skin and short hair." as a clear example of this. Apparently I am not the only one who saw this either:
Though there is one last point I want you to consider, something that didn't sit right with me. Taken from all that we know so far. How is it that a [developer], someone who likely has worked on the game or seen it in some capacity, also made the same mistake the OP did? Think about that.
