Dear Players!

After a long time we finally made it and released a major patch to CyberTaxi. The overall quality of the game has improved greatly.

Here is the full changelog of the MAJESTIC UPDATE to CyberTaxi, version 14.92cyt, August 2nd, 2022:

• Full controller support added - in menus, in-game vehicle stores etc. You can use PlayStation or Xbox controllers and the game will automatically detect them in the menu. Please note that the controller / input detection feature is initiated in the menu, that is, if you want to switch to controller during the gameplay then you have to do it by returning to menu and loading your game with a controller.
  
• Minimap added.
  
• Updated a lot of missions and their objectives. Game is more entertaining now.
  
• You can use mouse to buy stuff in shops.
  
• You can turn on/off shadows and minimap in the options menu.
  
• Cigarette and smoking mechanics added. Your character will smoke a cig from time to time.
  
• Redesigned all traffic waypoints.
  
• New pedestrian models added.
  
• New animations added - pedestrians, various objects, in-cockpit hands.
  
• Talent points redesigned (some of them).
  
• Sewer levels converted into underground city with secret areas.
  
• Update shooting vfx effects and sounds.
  
• Weapon models updated or changed into newer ones.
  
• New bullet mechanics implemented.
  
• Many new lights, lamps, features and special bridges added in District 1, 3, 4.
  
• District 2 redesigned - added a new cemetery and a unique green-like toxic mist.
  
• Fade in and out changed and improved.
  
• You no longer will get blocked if you throw away a story mission customer.
  
• New sounds added.
  
• New map markers and points of interests added or updated.
  
• New menu UI implemented.
  
• Cars and terrorists have a small chance to drop loot - HP or machineguns ammo.

• Added over 50 static NPCs to each district with various animations (extra pedestrians).
  
• Pedestrians no longer walk around with a silly manner.

• Made a hotfix in version 13.99qw - mission 15 fixed.
  
• Added a notification how to access main menu after pressing ESC key.
  
• Fixed GPU instancing in various cases.

• Hot-fixes - added new minimap zoom in or out feature - use Mouse Scroll or Gamepad Controller's Right Stick.
  
• Updated helper boards with key / button bindings.
  
• Hints during pause game will now clearly indicate how to access Main Menu.

CyberTaxi version 10.24xyz Update - September, 2021 - Changelog:

• New driving model implemented - now your cab should react much faster when you hit gas button and also get a better momentum / acceleration;
  
• Important feature - added new notification when we complete a mission / fare (visuals and sound).
  
• Main menu visuals redesigned;
  
• Driving wheel no longer looks like an egg (haha!);

We have listened to your demands and prepared high quality 3D taxi cockpits for you!

Here is the full changelog of the HYPER UPDATE to CyberTaxi, version 10.09xyz, August 2021:

• Brand new 3D taxi interior added. Players now see the entire vehicle cockpit from FPS view in dynamic 3D environment. 2D interiors were totally removed from the game as they looked too obsolete.
  
• New unique systems have been implemented in the new 3D cockpits.
  
• New indicators and diodes have been implemented - the taxi dashboard layout lights are always random when you enter the game. Same goes for all the smaller gauges or diodes.
  
• Enhanced the driving model a bit - it feels slightly better.
  
• Auto-save feature added and enabled as default. The game informs you when the game was saved. You can still manually save the game by hitting the F5 key.
  
• Added lots of new buildings in first district, dozens of trees in second district and new objects in third and fourth district.
  
• Fixed dozens of objects and scale issues in all districts.
  
• Added new Monster Trucks in The Park district.
  
• Added taxi interior destruction system - cab display screens will fade in and out and some sparks may appear as your taxi gets damaged.
  
• Weather changes are now indicated by the 'W' indicator on your dashboard.
  
• Bloody wiper animation updated - it looks much nicer now.
  
• Added many new weapon effects in case of specific weapon types.
  
• Fixed bugs associated with gadgets or some weapons in shops.
  
• Tutorials updated.
  
• Game engine version updated from Unity 2019.4 to Unity 2020.3 - the game has received improved visual effects in a few places.
  
• Fixed a rare bug which prevented the player of obtaining any taxi color after selecting new game.
  
• Over 220 fixes of technical issues on various systems. The game should run without any strange or hard to fix problems on your rig.
  
• Updated all marketing and promotional graphics, screens, trailers.

Important note - First loading time may be slightly longer on some rigs after updating the game. Please be patient. Later on it should be shorter.

Around next few days or after the weekend we will release a new patch with following changes:

• Fixed scale in many places.
  
• New pedestrians.
  
• 3D cockpit of each taxi, all weapons and gadgets are in 3D now.
  
• Lots of bugfixes.

CyberTaxi version 9.13xyz Update - May 7, 2021 - Changelog:

• Xbox One / Xbox S controller support added;
  
• District 4 has been renamed to The Hellhood (from The Projects);
  
• Fixed rare issues with main boss in District 4 - The Hellhood;
  
• Fixed some issues with radio stations;
  
• Fixed some bugs with pedestrians in District 2 - The Park, you will receive cash if you hit them from now on;
  
• Fixed many Rocket Launcher turrets and their range of fire;
  
• Platinum Spark Plugs talent now provides additional resistance to energy type weapons instead of reducing low battery penalties;
  
• Fixed names or descriptions of some achievements to make them inline with game content.
  
• You will no longer lose cash by mistake in Exotic shops - you can't buy a gadget again if you already own it.

• Customer destination marker doesn't have any 'collision', this will make the game a bit more dynamic.

• Reduced sound volume levels of Laser Guns and Toxic Projectiles of enemy cars.
  
• Fixed many spawn points near Gambricorp Main Base.

Important note: Xbox One / Xbox S controller support and PS4 / PS5 controller support include driving, shooting, using map and talking with customers. In order to distribute your talents and do shopping you still have to use your keyboard or mouse.

CyberTaxi version 9.08xyz Update - May 6, 2021 - Changelog:

• Fixed rare issue with district gates (now all gates open properly and don't take multiplied amount of cash);
  
• Fixed issues in shops - you will no longer lose money if you buy a lot of ammo in case you're already full of ammo for particular weapon;
  
• Now you have to complete a specific number of missions to enter next district and also pay all cash you have accumulated. This makes the game even more challenging after entering new district and encourages you to earn more cash in order to buy new weapons / gadgets / repairs etc.
  
• The Punisher weapon is now called The Stryker;
  
• The Shocker weapon is now called The Pulsar;
  
• Fixed fog and sun shafts in The Park district to make it more realistic and increase visibility a bit;
  
• Many minor bugfixes.

We are currently working on the Xbox controller support. It is kinda tricky, so give us a few more days to make it work properly! :)

QUICK HOTFIX #3 ADDED (April 12, 2021) - Changelog:

• Minimap updated - now it displays and indicates all types of shops when you're nearby.
  
• Added new steering wheel mechanics, now it looks smooth.
  
• Fixed sound issues when game is paused or while using city map.
  
• Fixed over 100 normal / specular maps.

QUICK HOTFIX #2 ADDED (April 6, 2021) - Changelog:

• Fixed all bugs associated with Kill Terrorist / Pedestrian / Neo-Church Cleric missions.
  
• Fixed all bugs related to Chase Missions.
  
• Fixed bugs associated with kill car or vehicle missions.
  
• Fixed a memory leak in dynamic cables system - now the game runs much faster!

QUICK HOTFIX #1 ADDED (April 5, 2021) - Changelog:

• Now you also get a small amount of cash and Neo-Church rep for killing Thugs and Terrorists (same bonus applies when you hit them and drive over / run over them);
  
• You get additional cash bonus and Headhackers rep if you destroy any Turret;
  
• Changed the appearance of Stadium in the first district - it looks nicer now, visit it regularly to hit pedestrians (in order to collect some cash) that respawn on a regular basis;
  
• Fixed engine sounds while using the PSX Gaming Controller.
  
• The main character will laugh from time to time if you hit a pedestrian / Thug.
  
• Dialogue options now properly indicate what buttons are assigned to particular dialogue option while using the PSX Gaming Controller.

CyberTaxi 9.05az - ULTRA Update Part I - April 5, 2021 - Changelog:

• All memory leaks have been fixed;
  
• New Car Ramming System added – now you can crash and damage other cars by hitting them and you won’t lose that much momentum or fly into the air;
  
• New Hit Pedestrian System implemented – now you get cash after hitting pedestrians and don’t lose health or armor anymore;
  
• Fixed major bug which caused the game to hang after you have used Pause feature for more than 60 or 120 seconds – it will work like a charm now after resuming the game, no more FPS drop downs;

• Fixed the fly into the air physics bug (it will happen in very rare situations);
  
• Fixed collider bugs near corners of buildings in District 1 & District 3;
  
• Fixed all 2D graphics of shops and maps – they look nicer now;
  
• Fixed many spawn points;
  
• Added new optimization options in Main Menu – change Traffic Density to Low and Graphics / Quality settings to Low in order to run the game on slower rigs smoothly;

• Loading times are slightly lower now, that is, game loads much faster;

CyberTaxi version 7.30q - January 21, 2021 - Changelog:

• Meteor Showers weather was added in The Projects district (instead of Snow weather);
  
• Acid / Toxic Rains were added in The Park district (instead of standard Rain weather);
  
• redesigned Buzzsaw weapon mechanics;
  
• Buzzsaw weapon gets blood stains if you cut pedestrians or terrorists;
  
• Buzzsaw weapon makes scratchy noises and emits lots of sparks if you hit enemy cars;
