Good game from 2007 for men in their twenties, especially the latter half of . Something of a cool guide book for those stuck in the monotonous n depraved civilised world of trash....
It is not deep n there is no profound thought to it, but if you favour 2000s media then you will likely find something personally symbolic here and things to reminisce about n contemplate. It is a good representation of its years.
The game play is simple and uniquely designed, the difficulty is quite easy, but very enjoyable to play as the game has possibly the most fun killing effect of the enemies in the hack n slash action type games. There is a relatively annoying but not too long grind in this game on the first playthrough, but it somehow enriches the premise n makes u laugh if u ever worked a job in ur life... In fact after ur done with it all, makes real life crap even more tolerable as you begin to easier see through the minigames of modern living.
In some interviews the director of the game described the purpose of No more heroes is to get players excited about life N I think this is a message that stands.
Game goes hand in hand with Taoism...

The combat system also has a few easy tricks that are not told about in the game, its possible to figure majority of them out on your own, but there is good guide on steam & on gamefaqs where u can read it in detail.
