You can use mouse invert through steam its really simple:
Click the Controller Configuration option (it appears in the Steam overlay or on the game’s library page under the controller settings).
Customize Mouse Settings:
In the controller configuration interface, locate the section for mouse settings (often tied to joystick emulation or raw mouse input).
Add or modify the bindings for mouse input, and look for an Invert Y-Axis or similar option.
Save the Configuration:
Save your new configuration. Steam will use it every time the game launches.
I'm sorry you have to go through that, I only play inverted on PS controller so I understand your struggle here but I didn't have the time to focus on settings as a solo developer I relied on steam's settings to help me, I'll do better in my next game. Promise!
